On Sunday 2 July 2006, Krylati dance ensemble representing CYM Bradford performed at the annual summer gala at St Austen’s Catholic School in Wakefield. Sumenyata, starshi and druzhynnyky dance groups performed in the school hall for children and parents and teachers of the school.
Head teacher, Mr David Willis, thanked the ensemble for its performance and said that it has now become a tradition at the school’s annual gala for the ensemble to perform and said how the children looked forward to the performance with children imitating the dancers with pryshiadi’s and other dance movements.
