On Sunday 30th January, sumivti and the Ukrainian community in Bradford remembered the events that took place at Kruty 87 years ago. The Chairman of CYM, druh Stefan Jarockyj, opened the proceedings. Sumivka Katrusia Prodywus read the order and sumivech Martyn Favell recited a poem. To conclude the commemoration, sumivech Petro Chymera laid a wreath of flowers on a symbolic grave, in memory of the 300 Ukrainian students who died at the Battle of Kruty on 29th January 1918, whilst defending the honour of their country.
