Remembering the Events of 30th June 1941

Holova of CYM in  Bradford leads the proceedings at the commemoration In response to the threats of Nazi Occupation and Russian Communism during the Second World War, the Proclamation of the Re-establishment of Ukrainian Independence took place in Lviv on 30th June 1941. When Oseredok CYM in Bradford was established in 1948, it adopted the name of "30th June 1941" in remembrance of this event. On Sunday 27th June 2004 at the AUGB Centre, all members of Oseredok CYM in Bradford and the local Ukrainian community held a commemoration marking the 63rd anniversary of this Proclamation of Ukrainian Independence.   This site in Ukrainian
