It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing, on November 2, 2004, of

Druh Kornel Wasylyk

A member of CYM since 1946. For many decades, and until his death, a leading member of KY CYM, serving in many capacities as kult-osvitny referent, and Komandant & Vychovnyk at numerous summer camps in the US.

He was a longtime member of the NY Oseredok. For 20 years he was Holova Oseredku CYM, for which he was accorded the honor of "Pochesnyi Holova". He also was a teacher at the School of Ukrainian Studies in NYC for over 30 years.

Foremost, he was a mentor, teacher and friend to thousands of sumivtsi in the USA and around the world.

He will be greatly missed!
