ISKRA FootNotes
A newsletter from the ISKRA Dance Group at Palatine CYM
106 E. Illinois, Palatine, IL 60067     847.358.3582

September 2004

Welcome to another exciting year of dance!
We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces. In order to keep everyone informed about what is happening at the ISKRA dance school, we will now distribute a monthly newsletter. We will send this newsletter to you via e-mail and it will also be available in hard copy at CYM.

Classes begin Monday, September 13 for Groups 2, 3, and 4 and Wednesday, September 15 for Group 1.

Our 2004-05 Dance Instructors Include:
Kalyna Wasiunec, Adriana Striltschuk, Natalia Mischenko, Rostyk Zbotaniv, Michael Byc, and Adrian Hulyk.
To offer our students variety, occasionally, we may have additional guest instructors.

Dance Group Committees:
This dance school is run by voluntary committees. Our previous success is due largely to the help of our dedicated parents and other volunteers. Please give some thought to volunteering. Committee positions are not burdensome if there are enough people willing to take on tasks - many hands make light work.
We need at least four parents per dance group to help with costumes, staging, props, coordination, various issues and communication. If you’d like to volunteer, please include this information on the ISKRA Information Form available at registration, or see Natalia Mischenko to get this form.

ISKRA T-shirts and tote bags:
These items are typically available at CYM. If you’d like to purchase ISKRA apparel, please see Oksana Kurywczak.

Lost and Found:
Although we have a lost and found box at CYM, please try to label your child’s dance shoes, and any other items brought to CYM as many students have the same shoes, jackets, bags, etc.
